Last Saturday, I had a farewell party for my exchange student friend, Saaya. She lives in Okinawa and fortunately, in the desolate desert of Tucson, has a fellow student who can speak Japanese. She's been here for at least 10 months and will be leaving on May 29th. I'll be leaving 6 days after her.
And realizing that I'll be leaving soon is thrilling and filled with anxiety. Last year, when I went to Tokyo, I was just worried over every single possible detail, while this year, I'm worried if my seat on the airplane will be in the middle again.

I have already gotten my school uniform ready. I don't really know what club to join since there are so many. I thought of doing kendo because I do taekwondo, but I don't want to get injured. I guess I'll ask around クラブの中で、何が一番好きですか。
My host family is the Okazaki family. I'll have two younger brothers and the father is an architect. Hopefully the boys won't be awful like a Domyouji from "Hana Yori Dango" (if you get my drift ;D).
I leave Tucson at 6:25am, arrive in San Francisco and leave from there are 11:25am for Tokyo on June 4th. Ah! >A< I hope everything goes well!
